Métisse French Bistro is located at  239 west 105 Street since 1994 serving a truly French Cuisine. Chef Claude Giordanengo hails from Cannes and schooled in art of traditional French Cuisine with influences from Africa, Mexico, and Italy.

The name Métisse in English means mixed race. The former owner of Métisse was born in France. His father is a Frenchman and his mother is a Dominican.

Metisse is now serving Lunch from Monday thru Friday from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. Brunch on weekends from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. Dinner starting at 4:00 pm.
